Le Prophète (صلى الله عليه وسلم) buvait en trois fois. Lorsqu’il approchait le récipient de sa bouche il mentionnait Allah (تعالى) (bi-smi-llâh) et lorsqu’il l’en éloignait (صلى الله عليه وسلم) il louait Allah (تعالى) (al-hamdu li-llâh).
كَانَ (صلى الله عليه وسلم) يَشْرَبُ فِي ثَلاثَةِ أَنْفَاسٍ، إِذَا أَدْنَى الإِنَاءَ إِلَى فَمِهِ سَمَّى اللهَ(تعالى)، وَ إِذَا أَخَّرَهُ حَمِدَ اللهَ(تعالى)، يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ ثَلاَثَ مَرَّاتٍ
